The Capital Region Tennis Association (CRTA) was formed at a General meeting on September 6, 2006. Board members were appointed and the association was born.
The CRTA is a not-for-profit association. Our mandate is to grow the sport of tennis in the Fredericton area. Some of our initiatives are:
- Establish programs for community tennis
- Run fun events and tournaments
- Create a collective voice for tennis
- Communicate information to the members
One of our long-term goals is to see the creation of an indoor facility so we can play tennis year-round. Details on the progress of that may be found in Meetings and any late-breaking news about our progress will be posted on the News page.
